Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Kingdom of Denmark were established on 20 January 1992.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Iceland were established on 14 February 1992.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Lithuania were established on 22 November 1991.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Kingdom of Norway were established on 18 February 1992.

The Republic of Slovenia has developed good and friendly relations with all the above  mentioned countries. Successful cooperation was established at both bilateral and multilateral levels. The political dialog on different levels and in different fields is part of regular cooperation. The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Denmark is striving to maintain and further strengthen already achieved very good political relations and all-round cooperation. Among the most important tasks of the Embassy are also maintaining close ties with the official and/or state representatives of the countries of our accreditation, informing the partners from those countries about Slovenia and Slovenian standpoints, as well as informing the Slovene side about the positions and standpoints of  the Accredited State.
