Political consultations in Copenhagen

Ambassador Kajzer participated on Friday 24th of February 2017 at the political consultations where Mrs Sanja Štiglic State Secretary from the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with State Secretaries Mrs Lone Wisborg and Mr Lars Thuesen and where other collaborators from the both sides took part. 

Bilateral relations were touched upon with the common interest for further dynamic in bilateral visits and deepening of the cooperation taking into consideration that Slovenia and Denmark are marking this year the 25th Anniversary of diplomatic relations. Beside bilateral matters where both sides expressed interest to increase economic interactions among the two countries and where innovations and digitalization was mentioned among the focus areas, other predominantly EU topics, including migrations, future of the EU, and further enlargement were touched upon. Both sides agreed that Slovenia and Denmark as the partners members of EU and NATO share common views regarding many EU and other current open issues at the international level.

State Secretary Mrs Štiglic visited during the consultations the premises of the Slovenian Embassy where she met with Ambassador Kajzer and his collaborators and where Ambassador introduced to State Secretary many projects and promotional activities the Embassy plan to execute during the year 2017 in Denmark and in other four countries Slovenia is covering from Denmark.
