The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Copenhagen is the official representation of Slovenia to the Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Iceland and Republic of Lithuania. All four countries are members of NATO, Denmark and Lithuania are members of the European Union and Norway and Iceland are members of the European Economic Area (EEA).
Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Lithuania are members of the Schengen Agreement. The Embassy started to operate in November 1999 and had official inauguration in April 14, 2000. The chancellery is located in a prestigious down town of Copenhagen, in the vicinity of the Queen's Palace, at Amaliegade 6, on the second floor.
Diplomatic relations among both countries were established on January 20, 1992. H.M. Queen Margrethe II paid a state visit to Slovenia in October of 2001.
